Tell us about your business
Our mission statement summarizes who we are very well: Seattle Rental Management stands between two critical interests: an owner’s asset and a tenant’s home. We take that responsibility seriously — protecting one, respecting the other, and doing right by both.
What keeps you committed to this work?
We are in the business of caring for peoples homes, arguably the thing that matters most in the material world. Myself and our Operations Manager originated in the service industry, and we’ve always stayed committed to bringing that ethos to our work. Being proactive, being timely, being quick on our feet and operating with that service mentality at large.
We take great pride in being a boutique size company that is locally owned. Many of our competitors are actually owned by national holding companies and aren’t as invested in the community as we are. Our entire team lives in works in the communities that we manage properties within. We are invested in having good tenants and homes that are well taken care of.
Why did you join the Chamber?
For the reasons noted above, we want to be connected to other local Seattle companies. We also want to have more visibility on opportunities of where and when we can give back. We are particularly interested in having safe neighborhoods, safe streets, and safe parks for people to live and play within.
How can the business community support your organization?
We work with many realtors, investors, and people in the trades in Seattle. We want to be known for the type of work that we do which we are proud of. One thing in particular that we take very seriously is maintenance, something that can be quite delayed with other property management companies, and something that brings a bad name to the industry. We also want to be more connected to other quality vendors and members of the community to network with.
