Tell us about your business
Providing counsel, strategy and guiding implementation for high-profile, complex projects is at the heart of the work I have advanced during a more than 25-year tenure in the public relations/public affairs field.
I have led community outreach, provided media counsel and led public affairs strategy and coalition building for hundreds of public and private sector clients throughout Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region. I bring sought-after, straightforward counsel and a problem-solving approach to every client scenario.
My work includes strategic engagement on behalf of clients with neighborhood advocates, media, civic groups, transportation, land use, housing and pedestrian advocates, business groups, freight mobility/industrial groups and elected officials. I am adept at bringing groups together who may not otherwise agree, helps them find common ground and successfully creates opportunities for dialogue toward solutions. Particularly in the real estate, land use and housing sectors, I help clients successfully navigate through the maze of public process, communications and political environments associated with a given project.
Raised in Puyallup, I attended Western Washington University, where I served an appointment by former Gov. Gary Locke to the University’s Board of Trustees. I am a former Forterra and Seafair board member and current Eastside Business Alliance Board Member and Bellevue Chamber Board Member. I am a past graduate of the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program, a facet of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. At age 29, I was named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.”
