Tell us about your business

Located in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle, House of Smith’s Jet City Tasting Room and Winery is one of a kind. The winery occupies the space that was formerly a Dr. Pepper bottling plant. Designed by famed Olson Kundig Architects, you are invited to taste and experience House of Smith’s award-winning wines, created by owner and winemaker Charles Smith, while enjoying views of the main runways of Boeing Field and the iconic profile of Washington’s Mount Rainier. Our upstairs Aviation Lounge has views over our working winery and can accommodate events for guests from 10 to 100 people. Learn more at houseofsmith.com or contact events@houseofsmith.com.

Best Kept Secret: House of Smith’s Jet City Winery is the best place to watch the Blue Angels take off during Seattle’s annual Seafair event.

Why did you join the Chamber?

The Chamber has its finger on the pulse of Seattle. The many webinars and events that are offered allow us as a business to respond to what’s happening in the Seattle metro area. Being able to network with fellow members and to collaboratively grow our businesses is another benefit.

What are you/is your business interested in – or – what do you need currently?

We are excited to be hosting a Young Professional Network event on April 9 at our Jet City Winery. We welcome the chance to show off our space to Chamber members and showcase our great wines. With the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the horizon, we appreciate the help and guidance the Chamber brings on how to prepare for this groundbreaking event in Seattle.
