Each Year our non profit supports local women and girls with Scholarships and Awards to empower and improve lives. We also support other non profits who align with our international mission. This year our Awards Celebration and Silent Auction will be held at Seattle University, May 19th and we are seeking Businesses that would like to Sponsor the Event or In-Kind Donations for our Silent Auction.
About our Awards
Live Your Dream Award- A $5000 Club level gift is for a woman who is financially supporting her household and pursing higher education. This year’s award winner also was granted an additional $5000 from the NW Regional Level of Soroptimists.
Avys Hathaway Scholarship-This $5,000 award is granted to a woman in need who is head of household, pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Puget Sound.
Dr Bertha Barriga Scholarships- (2) $5000 awards went to students in the Dental Profession in the Puget Sound.
Community Service Awards-Each year our Club evaluates local non-profits whose mission aligns with ours and is making a difference in the community. We support them, either monetarily or with our time and talent.
