Seattle Art Source will be hosting the Form Over Function group exhibition in Georgetown, Seattle, Opening 4pm on Saturday October 11th.
The work of these diverse artists documents the enduring presence of the human figure in contemporary art. The show centers on the body — its structure, its expression, and its ability to evoke feeling.
From bold gestures to quiet contours, each piece offers a unique perspective on the physical form, reminding us why the figure remains one of the most powerful and timeless subjects in visual art. In an age where function often takes precedence, Form Over Function reasserts the value of form itself — as vessel, symbol, and story.
In addition to the gallery show, Seattle Art Source, co-curated with artist Seth Sexton, will host a series of panel discussions, educational events and programming co-chaired with some of Seattle’s brightest arts luminaries.
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to local youth crisis services..
