Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, a new women and minority-owned pet business, has opened its doors at 1422 Harvard Avenue in Capitol Hill. Co-owned by first-generation American entrepreneurs Anurag Gandhi and Sanjna Mehta, the business began serving the community on May 8th, 2025.
As new members of the Seattle Metro Chamber of Commerce, Gandhi and Mehta are proud to bring professional pet grooming services, premium natural pet foods and treats, and exclusive products to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The business aims to create a welcoming space for all pet lovers while providing high-quality services to help pets live their happiest, healthiest lives.
“We’re thrilled to become part of the Capitol Hill community and the broader Seattle business landscape,” said Anurag. “The warm welcome we’ve received from neighbors and fellow pet lovers has been incredible, and we’re excited to grow our connections through the Seattle Metro Chamber.”
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming will host its official Grand Opening celebration on May 30th at 4:00 PM, featuring a ribbon cutting ceremony with Seattle City Councilmember Joy Hollingsworth. The event will include light refreshments, special promotions, and pet-friendly activities. All community members are welcome to attend, and pets are invited to join.
The business represents the growing trend of diverse entrepreneurship in Seattle and highlights the importance of pet-focused businesses in urban neighborhoods. As members of the Seattle Metro Chamber, Gandhi and Mehta look forward to networking with fellow business owners and contributing to the local economy.
