Tell us about your business
Bio Clean Inc. is a biohazardous waste company that has been around since 1998. The company started with the mission “to help families deal with a death of a loved one”. We still go by this mission statement and helping people in times of trauma is the core of our company. As a company that is surrounded by the dark issues and struggles that people are facing every single day, we make it our mission to get resources and help for those in need. Our services include homicides, suicides, hoarding, drug sampling and remediation, fire and wire damage, mold, and much more. We have an emergency response when needed and offer free presentations on any of our services.
Why did you join the Chamber?
I joined the Chamber to connect with businesses and nonprofits so we can talk about our services and let people know there is a company out there that can help people in times of need with biohazardous waste cleanup. We have an outreach program that helps our clients find resources in mental health, drug rehabilitation, and homelessness so partnering with people in these fields is important to us so we can help. The Chamber has been a huge help for us advocating for our community and getting to know different organizations.
What are you/is your business interested in or what do you need currently?
Networking has been significant for our company. Bio-Clean is interested in getting the word out on the dangers of drugs, so we offer free presentations to businesses and nonprofits on what to look out for the state guidelines, and the correct protocols. We are active on our social media and have a podcast coming out soon on what we do and what we’re seeing out on the field. Connecting with members and colleagues has helped us not just talk about what we do but also learning from them and their own experiences.
