Tell us about your business

PRR was established in Seattle more than 40 years ago as a small firm serving government clients throughout the Puget Sound. Since our founding, PRR has expanded to Oregon, California, and the Mid-Atlantic to serve government and corporate clients in their transportation, environmental, and healthcare improvements.

As a national leader at the nexus of social marketing and community engagement, PRR fosters healthier, more cohesive, equitable, informed, and engaged communities. We partner with public and private clients to provide integrated communications solutions that help people make informed decisions and build stronger, more inclusive communities. As an anti-racist company, PRR works to dismantle systems of advantage based on race whenever possible.

Why did you join the Chamber?

I joined the Chamber to continue PRR’s decades-long partnership with the Seattle Metro Chamber, which began with our founder, Rita Brogan. Through the Chamber, I have made numerous professional and personal connections, attended the Regional Leadership Conference each year, and participated in several state and regional study missions – all of which I highly recommend for any business leader. I’m pleased that PRR’s Samantha DeMars-Hanson continues her involvement with the Chamber’s Young Professional Advisory Board and encourages our staff to get involved in Chamber activities.

What are you/is your business interested in or what do you need currently?

We love the networking sessions – whether connecting in a committee setting, conference, or during a study mission – as they provide opportunities to establish new relationships and nurture our long-term business partnerships. PRR can point to numerous business successes that have come directly from our Chamber friends and colleagues. Additionally, with so many of our staff returning to our downtown Seattle office to work, we applaud the Chamber’s efforts to bring into our beautiful city more retail and dining options.
