Evergreen Treatment Services Takes Life-Saving Treatment on the Road
Treatment in Motion mobile clinics will now operate at three locations in Seattle and one location in the South Sound
WHAT: Evergreen Treatment Services (ETS) launch event Treatment in Motion: Healing in Community will introduce a new substance use treatment mobile clinic to Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood.
WHEN/WHERE: Tuesday, July 16, from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm PDT at Pioneer Park (100 Yesler Way) in Pioneer Square
WHY: The introduction of fentanyl – a cheap, short-acting, and lethal opioid – into the street drug supply has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives in the United States. In King County alone, more than 1,067 people died from fentanyl poisonings and overdoses in 2023, a 47% increase from 2022. Treatment can save lives, but it must reach more people when and where they need it to reverse this devastating trend. ETS is committed to meeting people where they are with effective, low-barrier treatment and recovery support services. Treatment in Motion (TIM) mobile clinics bring treatment into the community, where it’s needed most.

The launch celebrates the addition of a new, state-of-the-art substance use treatment mobile clinic to our growing fleet of Treatment in Motion (TIM) vehicles. This newest mobile clinic was funded by the City of Seattle and is equipped with a mobile dispensary with two dosing windows and will allow ETS to conduct intakes on the spot and provide all associated services in partnership with established community providers. This vehicle will serve adults in Pioneer Square, six days per week. TIM offers medication dispensary services and intake exams and is staffed by nurses, technicians, and community safety specialists.
