At Nurse Staffing Solutions our mission is to address the nurse staffing crisis by focusing on training and creating a larger pool of certified professionals. It is a community service business that provides solutions for improving patient safety, workforce development, and reducing burnout and dissatisfaction. Our pillars include staffing, training, and equity initiatives.
Why did you join the Chamber?
I joined the Chamber to connect with experienced and like-minded individuals. As a nurse without a formal business education, I believe there is immense value in learning from and being a part of this business community and developing long-term relationships.
What are you/is your business interested in or what do you need currently?
In 2023, we successfully launched our CPR training citywide and obtained our SDVOSB, MWBE, HubZone, and (AC)DBE certifications. We are now accredited to offer home care aide programming in our new office building in Renton. However, we need a long-term care partner to launch our Certified Nurse Assistant program. This is the final step in supporting the next rung of the nurse training pipeline. While some nursing homes and assisted living facilities may hesitate to work with a new school, with my 17 years of nursing experience and four years of faculty experience, we will not let you down.
