On October 11, small business champions from Minneapolis and Seattle are coming together for a unique learning and networking opportunity. If you are a small business owner, advocate, or resource provider we invite you to join us in person at the Seattle Central Library, or virtually via Zoom at 1:30pm-4pm PST for this dual city discussion about building a more inclusive urban economy. Speakers from each city will share strategies on adapting to a changing marketplace and thriving in a digital world. Our two metro areas — with similar sizes, demographics, and economic conditions — have much to learn from each other as our small businesses navigate similar challenges.

This hybrid event (both virtual and in-person) will provide an opportunity to level up your business and connect with other small business owners, lenders, advocates, and tech experts. It will coincide with the Entrepreneur Expo in Minneapolis. Join us in person at the Seattle Central Library or virtually via Zoom at 1:30pm PST on October 11 for this can’t-miss event.

Following the panels is an in-person open house (4-6pm) where you’ll have an opportunity to connect with speakers and other business assistance organizations at a mini-fair event. Be ready to make connections!

Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage everyone to register so we can send you relevant information after the event.

  • 1:30pm-4pm – Business Owners, Assistance Orgs and Government partners compare notes in a series of panel discussions (Central Library Level 1 Auditorium or online via zoom – you choose!)
  • 4-6pm – Business Resource Open House – a mini-fair where you can connect with orgs that support small businesses in Seattle (Central Library Level 4 room 1 – IN-PERSON ONLY for this part!)

You might also be interested in the Intentionalist Small Business Community Champion Awards  which happens in-person at the Central Library after the open house.
