Community Impact – Swire Coca-ColaSwire Coca-Cola is dedicated to the communities it operates in, and has woven sustainability into each part of the business. Beginning with the sourcing of packaging through the manufacturing and eventually the post-consumer recycling process, Swire Coca-Cola has a comprehensive strategy for mitigating the businesses’ impact on the environment. Swire Coca-Cola upcycles its HDPE ingredient drums with the help of non-profit partners like Habitat for Humanity who provide them as rain barrels to Washington families. Swire Coca-Cola has also collaborated with the River Network to host rain barrel workshops with the Palouse Conservation District in Pullman, WA. In 2021, Swire achieved a company-wide water replenishment rate of 265% through partnerships and water restoration projects with organizations like the Bonneville Environmental Foundation and National Forest Foundation.
