The city of Seattle’s Office of Labor Standards has announced its upcoming rulemaking stakeholder process.
The office will hold five virtual stakeholder meetings to gather input for Seattle Metro Chamberistrative rulemaking to implement the Independent Contractor Protections Ordinance, SMC 14.34.
The meeting schedule and planned topics for each meeting are below. If you have not already done so, please sign up to participate here and email Policy Analyst Kerem Levitas directly to request interpretation or a reasonable accommodation. The city will send out calendar invites and virtual meeting links before the first meeting. Meeting materials will be provided before each meeting.
