Now, more than ever, we need to be community-ready and strengthen our blood supply. Our community needs 16,000 people to sign up to give blood between now and the Fourth of July.
As vaccinations allow us to resume previously stalled activities and traffic increases local hospitals are relying on volunteer donors to ensure life-saving blood products are on hand when needed. Save more lives . . . get your vaccine shot and make your appointment to donate blood. There’s no wait period to donate after receiving your covid-19 shot.
In fact, Northwest icons – like Dan Wilson, Jen Mueller, Roger Levesque, Aaron Levine, Peta & Seta Tuilevuka – are joining us and sharing why giving blood is important to them. With every donation, we can save more lives in our community, learn more at https://savemorelivesgiveblood.org/.
All donations are by appointment only. The one-hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action. All donation locations are being conducted in accordance with social distancing guidelines. No walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite. All donors are required to wear masks during their appointments.
