Bloodworks Northwest is returning to T-Mobile Park in Seattle (1250 1st Ave S.) later this month. We are partnering with the Seattle Mariners to continue our pop-up donor center.
Now, more than ever, hospitals are depending on our community to come together to help those in need by giving blood. The survival of cancer patients, children and adults needing transplants, and victims of car accidents depends upon blood donors. Donating blood is essential, safe and remains an encouraged activity. Local blood supplies are fast declining and we're bracing for even higher blood demand as COVID-19 numbers surge and a shortage of donors as we approach the winter flu season. Note: If you've recently received your seasonal flu shot, there is no wait to donate. While there are many uncertainties in the months ahead, one thing that remains constant is the need for blood.
Upcoming dates at the Mariners are: Nov 24, 25, 28. Dec 15, 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 29 & 31. Masks and appointments are required. Please sign up at: https://schedule.bloodworksnw.org/DonorPortal/GroupLanding.aspx?s=0243
Enjoy these Mariners giveaways: Kyle Seager bobbleheads (from Root Sports). Youth caps, batting gloves, playground base set and arm sleeves (from Aquafina) and Tito's hand sanitizer!
