New, exclusive member series: The Conference Room with Rachel Smith

Chamber President and CEO Rachel Smith is excited to give you an inside look at how your Chamber team is working daily on your behalf. This is your monthly opportunity to learn and ask questions about how we’re:

  • Revitalizing our regional economy
  • Advocating on behalf of employers
  • Addressing issues like transportation, homelessness, and public safety

Smith will be joined each month by a special guest speaker from the region's business community. Our first guest will be Phyllis Campbell, Chairman, Pacific Northwest at JPMorgan Chase.  She is the firm’s senior executive in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho across businesses, representing JPMorgan Chase & Co. at the most senior level to clients.

Previously, Phyllis served as the President/CEO of The Seattle Foundation, the largest community foundation in Washington, and as the President/CEO of U.S. Bank of Washington.

Phyllis has an extensive career of board service, both in the for profit and not-for-profit sectors, and has been recognized as a “Top 100” Director by the National Association of Corporate Directors. She currently serves on the Diversity Advisory Board of Toyota as well as the boards of the Allen Institute, U.S.-Japan Council, and SanMar, and was elected as an independent board member to Air Transport Services Group Inc. (NASDAQ) in January 2021.

Her accolades include “First Citizen” of Seattle/King County in 2016, the Lifetime Achievement Award by Seattle Business Magazine in 2015 and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Vision from the Mountaintop Award in 2015, among many others.
