Here at the Seattle Metro Chamber, we have to 2,500 companies across the region and 13 different business sectors, from your favorite neighborhood restaurant to brands known around the world. We have started our new member feature program based on referrals. Please help us welcome Jamie Hunt with Fast Penny Spirits as our next member feature and tell us who we should feature next!
Fast Penny Spirits is an amaro (Italian herbal liqueur) distillery and B Corp™ producing Amaricano and Amaricano Bianca. Based in Seattle and inspired by my Italian heritage, the company is committed to stirring up change. Blended with over 45 of the highest quality, organic, and sustainably sourced botanicals, their amari are rich, herbaceous, and captivating.
To what do you attribute your business’ success?
I have a background in digital and innovation strategy, which has helped us pivot as needed and connect with our customers effectively. I have a passionate team of folks who support our mission, from our employees to PR, marketing, and design partners. We hold regular planning and strategy sessions with the team led by our executive coach, which keeps us focused. We have a constant eye on the future, thinking about how we accelerate growth, such as our recent launch of a crowdfunding campaign at Start Engine to help us scale and expand our give-back program.
How is your business active in your community?
At Fast Penny Spirits, we donate time, space, and product to local nonprofits in our community. Last month, we supported Dress For Success’ Summer Soiree by donating bottles, making cocktails at the event, and donating an auction item. We donated amari tastes and made cocktails for the Seattle Art Museum’s fundraising event at Olympic Sculpture Park. We also provide space for small businesses to pop up at our distillery as well as open up to local businesses to host their events.
Are there partnerships you are/your company is currently looking for?
We are always looking at partnerships with like-minded businesses. We’d love to partner with the hotel and building concierge to craft fun and delicious experiences for their guests and members. We also love working with local businesses like Beecher’s Cheese and Seattle Chocolate/jcoco to create fun experiences for our community to enjoy.
Thank you to Fast Penny Spirits for being part of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce network.
