Tradeshow License

According to the Tradeshow Ordinance, #117002, the City of Seattle requires us to purchase a tradeshow license and charge a participation fee to all exhibitors.

The Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce has purchased a tradeshow license and has already paid the participation fee for each exhibitor at this event. There will not be an additional charge to exhibitors; we have included the participation fee as part of your exhibitor cost.

This is not a temporary business license, it is considered a participation fee.

The tradeshow license purchased by the Chamber expires at the end of the May 12th, 2010 event and is applicable to this specific tradeshow only.

We are also required to "inform each participant, that in the event his/her taxable annual gross revenue for business in Seattle exceeds Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), he/she is obligated to report and pay City Business and Occupation Tax."
