2008 Conference: A World Center for Global Health

Advancements in science, technology, infrastructure and philanthropy are making it possible to envision a world in which all people have the same prospects for a long and healthy life.

Greater Seattle is in an ideal position to help lead these efforts and truly become one of the world’s great centers for global health.

That’s why more than 275 of our top business, government and civic leaders assembled for three days at the sold-out Regional Leadership Conference at the new Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington. The event was led by conference co-chairs Cheryl Scott, senior advisor to the president for global health programs, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Scott Jackson, vice president, external relations, PATH.
