The Alaska Committee has been in existence since the Greater Seattle Chamber was founded in 1882. It is the longest-standing continuous organization to work with the Alaska business community and the largest member-driven committee at the Greater Seattle Chamber.
More than 100 industries are represented in the Alaska Committee. This includes transportation, banking, fishing, insurance, manufacturing, hospitality, law, publishing, and wholesale and retail distribution.
MISSION
The Alaska Committee fosters positive economic relationships, provides information on issues of mutual concern and develops business relationship opportunities between Alaska and the Seattle business community.
