enterpriseSeattle's mission is to be a "difference maker" in the community by growing jobs and the tax base in King County, its 39 cities and the greater Puget Sound region. Its customized client services program focuses on business retention, expansion and recruitment. entrepriseSeattle's objective is to become the premier economic development in the United States.

Areas of focus include the five economic clusters prioritized in the Prosperity Partnership's Regional Economic Strategy: information technology, aerospace, life sciences, international trade/logistics and clean technologies. enterpriseSeattle also identifies new clusters and works to develop appropriate strategies that maximize potential for women and minority businesses, global health and philanthropy, and other emerging economic sectors in the Puget Sound region.
