International Trade

Greater Seattle is the economic hub of the most trade-dependent state in the nation. Almost three quarters of Washington state's exports originate in the central Puget Sound region, and international trade accounts for about one in three jobs in the local economy.

Through the Greater Seattle Chamber, you can connect with nearly 2,400 of the region's top businesses and be part of the team working to ensure the Puget Sound remains "a thriving region in a competitive world."

TRADE DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE
The Greater Seattle Chamber also links members to the international business community through our partner organization, the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle.

The Trade Alliance is born out of a recognition that new local partnerships are necessary to retain the region's future competitiveness in a rapidly changing global economy. Along with the Greater Seattle Chamber, the Trade Alliance's partners are the City of Bellevue, City of Everett, City of Seattle, City of Tacoma, Metropolitan King County Government, Pierce County Government, Port of Everett, Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, Snohomish County Government and union leadership.

The Trade Alliance's website,www.seattletradealliance.com, provides detailed information for local and international businesses. Features include:
