Focusing on the Puget Sound region's clean energy sector, this conference attracted over 250 business, government and civic leaders. Participants learned how the greater Seattle area can play to its strengths and become a world leader in renewable energy (like jet
biofuels), alternative energy (like wind and
solar), energy efficiency in buildings and smart grid technology.
2008: A World Center for Global Health
Over 275 attendees learned how greater Seattle is making advancements in science, technology, infrastructure and philanthropy so that people across the world have the same prospects for a long and healthy life.
2007: The Business of Climate Change
The daunting challenges of a changing climate present opportunity as well. More than 265 participants learned how we can use existing technology to reduce greenhouse gases, make smarter choices in our business practices and profit from our region's innovative answers to increase energy efficiency and reduce waste.
