“The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis'. One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger-but recognize the opportunity.” - John F. Kennedy
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, small businesses generated 60 to 80 percent of net new jobs annually over the last decade. Every day, in communities of all types and sizes across our nation, small businesses enrich the quality of life and serve as a path to prosperity.
As part of the Greater Seattle Chamber’s efforts to fuel a job growing economy in our region, we provide entrepreneurs and their employees with connections and resources to help them take their businesses to the next level.
Nearly 85 percent of Greater Seattle Chamber member companies are small businesses. This May, the Greater Seattle Chamber will honor these companies with a month of activities catering to their needs.
In an uncertain and unfamiliar economic climate the entrepreneurial spirit that drives these small business owners and employees is especially admirable and worthy of our support.
Join us this May as organizations from around the Puget Sound region help small businesses connect, learn and grow through various educational, developmental and networking events.
