Using Online Services to Thrive in a Tough Economy

In a tough economic environment, business managers are looking to reduce IT capital expenditure AND increase employee effectiveness. Is it possible to accomplish both at the same time? Tim Fletcher will discuss ways to reduce the cost of maintaining an IT infrastructure and managing servers, so your IT staff can focus on strategic initiatives that can help accelerate your business. You'll be able to breathe easier knowing that you are taking the right steps to protect your data, and focus on delivering great collaboration tools and serving your customers, not on managing technology.

This session is part three of a special four part Technology Thursdays series: Be Small, Look Big: Proactive Tech Solutions to Running Your Business in Tough Economic Times. This series focuses on cost-effective technology tools that will help you manage and grow your business in a down economy.

About the presenter
Tim Fletcher is a senior product manager at Microsoft, responsible for Online Services - collaboration and messaging software, hosted on the web and delivered on a subscription basis. He has been immersed in eCommerce, IT consulting and Internet Marketing for 16 years.
